Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone | Behind The Scenes
It recently came to my attention that people think that it’s childish to continue to enjoy the Harry Potter series. It baffles me that anyone would even care, let alone publicly post about it and clearly point it in my direction. This series has always been an outlet for me, teaching me life lessons through each book. It has shown me how to love unconditionally and truly be fearless. It brought out the hidden courage deep down inside, that told me to be myself and not care about what anyone thinks. It has given me so much more than I could have imagined. So, thank you JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the entire HP fanbase for never giving up.
It’s real, for us.
If you haven’t stayed up until the early hours of the morning reading with your eyes itching and burning with tiredness and your vision blurred as you fight to stay awake to finish the book, you haven’t lived at all
Draco: Sure you can manage that broom, Potter? Harry: Yeah, reckon so Draco: Got plenty of special features, hasn’t it? Shame it doesn’t come with a parachute-in case you get too near a Dementor. (Crabbe and Goyle sniggered) Harry: Pity you can’t attach an extra arm to yours, Malfoy. Then it could catch the Snitch for you.[x]
It sounds like a cliche but I also learnt that you're not going to fall for the right person until you really love yourself and feel good about how you are.
Currently drinking: The best Butterbeer I have ever tasted.
"I think I’d most like to spend a day with Harry. I’d take him out for a meal and apologize for everything I’ve put him through." J.K Rowling.
Happy Birthday, Jo! Thank you for existing and creating the amazing world all of us love and will cherish forever! (July 31st, 1965)
